Bus Detour for Nos. 21, 24H, 71, 73 & 79 in Orange – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, Main Street will be closed between Essex Avenue and South Center Street due to a movie shoot. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 21, 24H, 71, 73 & 79 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Elizabeth/Newark  will travel from Main Street and Essex Avenue, make a right on Essex Avenue, left on Freeway Drive East, left on South Center Street, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Livingston/Orange/West Orange/Parsippany/West Caldwell will travel from Main and South Center Streets, make a left on South Center Street, right on Freeway Drive West, right on Essex Avenue, left on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.      

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
