Bus Detour for Nos. 41 & 44 in Orange – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, Day Street/Main Street will be closed between Railroad Place and Essex Avenue due to a movie shoot. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 41 and 44 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Railroad Place and South Day Street, make a right on South Day Street, right on Freeway Drive West, right on South Essex Avenue, left on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Orange will not be affected.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
