Beginning on Tuesday, December 30, until Thursday, January 1, NJ TRANSIT Light Rail service will operate on modified service schedules as outlined below.

NOTE: Between Sunday, December 28, and Monday, December 29, all light rail services will operate on a normal weekend/weekday schedule. 

SERVICE NOTES:

 

River LINE:

  • On Tuesday, December 30, River LINE Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
  • On Wednesday, December 31 (New Years Eve), River LINE Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
  • On Thursday, January 1 (New Years Day), River LINE Light Rail service will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.

Newark Light Rail:

  • On Tuesday, December 30, Newark Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
  • On Wednesday, December 31 (New Years Eve), Newark Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
  • On Thursday, January 1 (New Years Day), Newark Light Rail service will operate on a Saturday/Holiday schedule.

  • On Tuesday, December 30, Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
  • On Wednesday, December 31 (New Years Eve), Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
  • On Thursday, January 1 (New Years Day), Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.
