NJ TRANSIT Light Rail Service for New Years – Monday, December 29, through Thursday, January 1, 2026
Beginning on Tuesday, December 30, until Thursday, January 1, NJ TRANSIT Light Rail service will operate on modified service schedules as outlined below.
NOTE: Between Sunday, December 28, and Monday, December 29, all light rail services will operate on a normal weekend/weekday schedule.
SERVICE NOTES:
River LINE:
- On Tuesday, December 30, River LINE Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
- On Wednesday, December 31 (New Years Eve), River LINE Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
- On Thursday, January 1 (New Years Day), River LINE Light Rail service will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.

- On Tuesday, December 30, Newark Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
- On Wednesday, December 31 (New Years Eve), Newark Light Rail service will operate on a normal weekday schedule.

- On Thursday, January 1 (New Years Day), Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.
