Bus Detour for Nos. 181 & 182 in Fort Lee – Monday, January 12, 2026

Effective Monday, January 12, until Thursday, April 30, Center Avenue bridge will be closed between the entrance ramp and Center Avenue due to bridge construction.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 181 and 182 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward George Washington Bridge will not be affected.   
• Buses traveling toward Union City/Hackensack will travel from the upper level of the George Washington Bridge and Exit 73, take Exit 73, keep right to Hudson Terrace Exit, right on Hudson Terrace, right on Bruce Reynolds Boulevard, left on Lemoine Avenue, and then continue the regular route.    

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
