Bus Detour for No. 24 in Newark - Tuesday, February 10, to Friday, February 13, 2026

Effective Tuesday, February 10, until Friday, February 13, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Park Place will be closed between Mulberry Street and Rector Street for gas line repairs.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 24 in Newark will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Orange will travel from Raymond Boulevard and Broad Street, continue on Broad Street, make a left on New Street, right on Washington Street, left on Central Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
