Bus Detour for No. 88C in Jersey City - Wednesday, February 25, to Thursday, February 26, 2026

Effective Wednesday, February 25 until Thursday, February 26, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Central Avenue will be closed between Jefferson Avenue and Paterson Plank Road for snow removal. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 88C in Jersey City will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward JRSQ will travel from Fifth Street and Summit Avenue, make a right on Summit Avenue, left on Jefferson Avenue, right on Central Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward North Bergen will travel from Central Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, make a left on Jefferson Avenue, right on Summit Avenue, left on Paterson Plank Road, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
