Bus Detour for No. 119 in Jersey City - Wednesday, February 25, to Thursday, February 26, 2026

Effective Wednesday, February 25 until Thursday, February 26, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Central Avenue will be closed between Jefferson Avenue and Congress Street for snow removal. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 119 in Jersey City will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Central Avenue and Reservoir Avenue, make a right on Reservoir Avenue, left on Palisades Avenue, right on Congress Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Bayonne will travel from Congress Street and Palisades Avenue, make a left on Palisades Avenue, right on Jefferson Avenue, left on Central Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
