Bus Detour for Nos. 64 and 68 in Jersey City - Thursday, February 26, to Friday, February 27, 2026

Effective Thursday, February 26, until Friday, February 27, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Christopher Columbus Drive will be closed between Brunswick Street and Varick Street for snow removal.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 64 and 68 in Jersey City will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Lakewood/Old Bridge will travel from Christopher Columbus Drive and Jersey Avenue, make a left on Jersey Avenue, right on Montgomery Street, right on Center Street, bear left in the left lane under the bypass on Merseles Street, take the ramp on Route 78, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
