Bus Detour for Nos. 23, 128, 159X, 165, 166 & 168 in West New York – Thursday, February 26, 2026

Effective Thursday, February 26 at 4:30 PM, and continuing until Friday, February 27 at 6:00 AM, JFK Boulevard East will be closed between 49th and 60th Streets due to snow removal.  

NJ TRANSIT Bus Routes Nos. 23, 128, 159X, 165, 166 & 168 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward PABT/Hoboken will travel from JFK Boulevard East and 60th Street, make a right on 60th Street, left on Bergenline Avenue, left on 48th Street, right on JFK Boulevard East, and then continue the regular route.    
• Buses traveling toward North Bergen, Westwood, Cresskill, Paramus will travel from JFK Boulevard East and 48th Street, left on 48th Street, right on Bergenline Avenue, right on 60th Street, left on JFK Boulevard East, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
