Bus Detour for Nos. 88 & 125 in Union City – Friday, February 27, 2026

Effective Friday, February 27, from 8:00 PM until Saturday, February 28 at 8:00 AM, JFK Boulevard will be closed between 16th and 21st Streets due to snow removal. 

NJ TRANSIT Bus Routes Nos. 88 & 125 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Journal Square/PABT will travel from JFK Boulevard and 22nd Street, make a left on 22nd Street, right on Summit Avenue, right on 15th Street, left on JFK Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.     
• Buses traveling toward Nungessers/Journal Square will travel from JFK Boulevard and 15th Street, make a right on 15th Street, left on Summit Avenue, right on Manhattan Avenue, left on JFK Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
