Port Jervis Line: Buses Replace Trains due to Infrastructure Work – Saturday, March 14, 2026
From approximately 12:30 AM until 7:00 AM, buses will replace two Port Jervis Line trains at New York State stations due to infrastructure maintenance.
Service notes:
- Train 41, the 12:39 AM departure from Hoboken, will be replaced by Train 1751, departing at the same time and terminating at Suffern. Customers continuing to stations from Sloatsburg to Port Jervis will transfer to buses at Route 17 Station. One bus will make limited stops to Port Jervis, the second will make all stops. Customers should double check with the bus operator to ensure they board the correct bus.
- Train 70, the 4:42 AM departure from Port Jervis, will originate in Suffern, departing at 6:09 AM. Buses will replace this train at all stations from Port Jervis through Sloatsburg, connecting with trains at Route 17 Station. Customers can take train 1702, the 6:09 AM departure from Suffern, or train 1706, the 8:09 AM departure from Suffern.
