Bus Detour for Nos. 84 & 89 in Guttenberg – Saturday, March 14, 2026

Effective Saturday, March 14, from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Park Avenue will be closed between 73rd and 68th Streets due to a St. Patrick’s Day Event.     

NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 84 and 89 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Jersey City/Hoboken will travel from Park Avenue and 73rd Street, make a left on 73rd Street, right on Boulevard East, right on 68th Street, left on Park Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward North Bergen will travel from Park Avenue and 71st Street, make a right on 71st Street, left on Boulevard East, left on 74th Street, right on Park Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
