Bus Detour for Nos. 68 and 138 in East Brunswick - Monday, March 16, to Wednesday, March 18, 2026

Effective each night from Monday, March 16, through Wednesday, March 18, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Route 18 North and South will be closed between Arthur Street and Milltown Road for overnight road work.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 68 and 138 in East Brunswick will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Weehawken/New York will travel from Route 18 North and Arthur Street, make a right on Arthur Street, left on Old Bridge Turnpike, left on Milltown Road, continue on the ramp to Route 18 North, right on Route 18 North, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Old Bridge will travel from Route 18 South and Milltown Road, make a right on Milltown Road, left on Jensen Street, left on Dunhams Corner Road, left on Cranbury Road, right on Route 18 South, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
