Bus Detour for No. 81 in Bayonne – Sunday, March 22, 2026

Effective Sunday, March 22, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Broadway will be closed between West 5th and West 8th Streets due to St. Patrick’s Day Parade. 

NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 81 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Jersey City will travel from Avenue C and West 5th Street, continue on Avenue C, right on West 7th Street, left on Avenue C, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Bayonne will not be affected.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
