Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work – Weekend | May 22-23, 2021

On Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23 from 2AM to 6:30PM each day, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, May 22, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.

Sunday, May 23, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.

IMPORTANT: On both days, all trains will operate on regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
