Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work - Saturday, July 31 to Sunday, August 1, 2021

On Saturday, July 31 to Sunday, August 1 from 2AM to 6:30PM each day, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, July 31, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Davenport Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Davenport Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue stations.

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a modified Sunday schedule as follows:

• Departing Grove Street: All trains will depart 10 minutes earlier than scheduled
• Departing Broad Street: All trains will depart 6 minutes later than scheduled.

Sunday, August 1, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Center Street/NJPAC, Washington Park and Broad Street stations.
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Center Street/NJPAC, Atlantic Street, Riverfront/Ballpark Stadium and Broad Street stations.

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a normal Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
