Newark Light Rail: Substitute Busing due to Track Work – Saturday, August 14 to Monday, August 16, 2021
On Saturday, August 14 at 2AM to Monday, August 16, at 2AM, buses will replace Newark Light Rail trains between Newark Penn and Grove Street stations due to track maintenance work as follows.
Service notes:
- Substitute buses will operate every 20 minutes all weekend between Newark Penn (rear of Bus Lane #1 near McDonald’s) and Grove Street stations.
- Rail service will be temporarily discontinued on the Broad Street Extension (BSE) including Broad Street, Washington Park, Newark Penn, NJPAC/Center Street, Atlantic Street and Riverfront Stadium stations.
- Customers are advised to use existing bus service to connect between Newark Penn Station and their destination as follows:
