Hudson Bergen Light Rail: HBLR Adjustments due to Police Training Exercise - Saturday, October 2, 2021
On Saturday, October 2 from approximately 5:30AM to 12:30PM, boarding changes, schedule adjustments and a bus bridge will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Hudson Bergen Light Rail system as the New Jersey Transit Police Department’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM), together with federal, state, county and local partners conduct a training exercise.
Service Notes:
- Due to the drill, there will be no HBLR service at 8th Street Station.
- Substitute bus service will be provided between 8th Street and 22nd Street stations on a load-and-go basis. Customers will board and alight buses as follows:
- 8th Street Station: Bus stop at 8th Street and Broadway
- 22nd Street Station: In front of the station
- Substitute bus service will be provided between 8th Street and 22nd Street stations on a load-and-go basis. Customers will board and alight buses as follows:
- Track 2 will be out of service between 22nd and 8th Street stations.
- HBLR schedule adjustments will occur as follows:
Departure Times (in minutes after the hour):
Northbound Departures
- 22nd Street Station to Hoboken Terminal - :11, :31, :51
- West Side Avenue to Tonnelle Avenue - :08, :28, :48
Southbound Departures
- Hoboken Terminal to 22nd Street Station - :05, :25, :45
- Tonnelle Ave to West Side Avenue - :16, :36, :56
After 12:30PM, normal weekend departure times will operate.
