UPDATE: Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work – Saturday, October 9, 2021

UPDATE: Track work will occur on Saturday only. Track work for Sunday, October 10 has been cancelled. Trains are expected to operate as normal on Sunday.

On Saturday, October 9 from 2AM until 6:30PM, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, October 9, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Center Street/NJPAC, Washington Park and Broad Street stations.
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Center Street/NJPAC, Atlantic Street, Riverfront/Ball Park Stadium and Broad Street stations.

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
