NJ TRANSIT Readies for Anticipated Severe Weather – Friday, February 4, 2022
Customers are encouraged to monitor njtransit.com for the latest service information. Delays, detours and potential service cancellations are possible during severe weather events.
Severe weather is approaching, bringing with it the possibility of flooding, icing conditions, and downed trees and utility lines through much of the day Friday, February 4. NJ TRANSIT plans to continue operating regular service as long as conditions safely permit.
On Friday, February 4, Bus Route Nos. 196/197 will originate/terminate at West Milford Park Ride. NJ TRANSIT Rail will accept NJ TRANSIT Bus tickets and passes on Port Jervis Line trains to/from Harriman, Tuxedo and Sloatsburg stations. Short Line Bus will accept NJ TRANSIT tickets and passes in Orange County.
Please exercise extreme caution around bus stops, stations and facilities as slippery conditions may exist.
