Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work - Weekend – May 21 to May 22, 2022

On Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 from 2AM to 5:30PM, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, May 21, 2AM to 5:30PM

Boarding Changes:

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street & Park Avenue stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street & Park Avenue stations.

Schedule Adjustments:

• IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Sunday, May 22, 2AM to 5:30PM

Boarding Changes:

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Branch Brook Park and Silver Lake stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Branch Brook Park and Silver Lake stations.
• All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
