North Jersey Coast Line: Boarding Changes and Possible Delays due to Overhead Wire Maintenance – Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, 2022
Delays of up to 20 minutes possible in both directions
On Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 from approximately 6AM to 6PM, North Jersey Coast Line trains traveling westbound from Matawan to Long Branch/Bay Head and eastbound traveling from Red Bank to Newark/New York may experience delays of up to 20 minutes due to single tracking for overhead wire maintenance.
NOTE: During this time, all trains will board on the westbound (Track 1) platform at Hazlet and Middletown stations.
These delays are in addition to delays resulting from work on the Northeast Corridor between Rahway and New York. Please allow for extra travel time and listen to station announcements prior to boarding.
We appreciate your patience during this important project.
