On Tuesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 16 from 9:30AM to 4PM both days, boarding changes will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Boarding Changes:

  • Washington Park Station will be closed for the duration of this outage. All trains at Washington Park Station will run via Atlantic Street. Customers wishing to travel to Newark Penn Station should use Atlantic Street Station as an alternative during this outage.

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
