Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work - Saturday, June 18, 2022

On Saturday, June 18 from 6AM to 5:30PM, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Boarding Changes:

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Center Street/NJPAC, Atlantic Street, Riverfront Ball Park Stadium and Broad Street Station. Please check the destination sign before boarding.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Center Street/NJPAC, Washington Park and Broad Street Stations. Please check the destination sign before boarding.

NOTE: Inbound trains at Washington Park Station will run via Atlantic Street. Customers wishing to travel to Newark Penn Station may use Atlantic Street Station as an alternative during this outage.

Schedule Adjustments:

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
