Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work - Saturday, June 25 & Sunday, June 26, 2022
On Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 from 2AM to 6:30PM, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:
Saturday, June 25, 2AM to 6:30PM
Boarding Changes:
- All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Park Avenue and Orange Street stations.
- Outbound platforms will be closed at Park Avenue and Orange Street stations.
Schedule Adjustments:
- IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.
Sunday, June 26, 2AM to 6:30PM
Boarding Changes:
- All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Park Avenue, Orange Street, and Norfolk Street stations.
- Inbound platforms will be closed at Park Avenue, Orange Street, and Norfolk Street stations.
- All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.
Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
