Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work - Saturday, August 20 & Sunday, August 21, 2022

On Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21 from 2AM to 7PM, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

SATURDAY, AUGUST 20, 2AM TO 7PM

Boarding Changes:

All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Branch Brook Park and Silver Lake Stations. Please check the destination sign before boarding.
Inbound platforms will be closed platforms at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Branch Brook Park and Silver Lake Stations. Please check the destination sign before boarding.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 21, 2AM TO 7PM

Boarding Changes:

All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Military Park, Washington Street and Warren Street Stations. Please check the destination sign before boarding.
Outbound platforms will be closed platforms at Military Park, Washington Street and Warren Street Stations. Please check the destination sign before boarding.

Schedule Adjustments:

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule both days.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
