Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work – Weekend – September 24 to September 25, 2022

On Saturday, September 24 through Sunday, September 25, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Light Rail due to track work.

IMPORTANT: During this time, buses will replace trains on a load-and-go basis between 2nd Street Station and Hoboken Terminal.

Boarding Changes:

6AM-8PM (September 24 and 25): Tracks H1, H2, and H4 will be out of service between Newport and Hoboken stations.

Schedule Adjustments:

Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

• 8th Street to Newport Station – :00, :20, :40
• West Side Avenue to Tonnelle Avenue– :08, :28, :48

Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

• Tonnelle Avenue to West Side Avenue – :02, :22, :42
• Newport Station to 8th Street – :02, :22, :42

Note: After 8PM on September 24 and 25, trains will operate on a normal weekend schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
