North Jersey Coast Line: Possible Delays due to Raritan River Drawbridge Replacement – Saturdays, December 10 and 17, 2022, & January 7 and 14, 2023
Possible delays up to 10 minutes
On Saturdays, December 10 and 17, as well as Saturdays, January 7 and 14, throughout the entire service day (from 4:30AM Saturday until 2:15AM early Sunday), North Jersey Coast Line trains will be subject to delays of up to 10 minutes due to work related to the replacement of the Raritan River Draw bridge:
- Eastbound from South Amboy to New York.
- Westbound from Perth Amboy to Long Branch, as well as on connecting Bay Head shuttle trains.
Additionally, during this time, trains in both directions will arrive and depart from Track 2 (to Newark/New York) in both directions at Perth Amboy and South Amboy stations. Customers should check which direction the train is traveling in and listen carefully to pre-boarding announcements.
We appreciate your patience during this important project.
