Morris and Essex Line: Possible Delays due to Track Work – Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, 2023

Possible delays

Beginning at 6AM Saturday, August 26 and continuing until approximately 4PM on Sunday, August 27, M&E (Midtown Direct) and Montclair-Boonton Line trains may experience delays of up to 15 minutes due to track work near Newark Broad Street Station.

Please note the following:

• During the times noted above, all Midtown Direct and Montclair Line trains will arrive and depart from track 2 in both directions at Newark Broad Street. Customers will walk along the platform to transfer between trains.
• Trains may be further delayed because of ongoing maintenance and infrastructure projects – including construction of the new Portal Bridge - between Newark Broad Street and Penn Station New York.
