Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Construction - Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30, 2023
On Saturday, July 29 at 6AM and continuing until Sunday, July 30, at 8PM, schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Light Rail due to construction. A bus bridge will operate on a load-and-go basis at Liberty State Park, Garfield Avenue, MLK Boulevard, and West Side Avenue Stations.
Boarding Changes:
- Saturday, July 29th: Both tracks will be out of service between Liberty State Park and West Side Avenue, bus bridge will be in effect.
- Saturday, July 29th and Sunday, July 30th: All trains will arrive and depart from Track 2 at 2nd Street Station and 9th Street Station.

From 6AM to 4PM
Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):
- 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :09, :29, :49
- Liberty State Park to Tonnelle Ave - :17, :47
Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):
- Tonnelle Ave to Liberty State Park - :21, :51
- Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :25, :45
Starting from 4PM
Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):
- 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :09, :29, :49
- Liberty State Park to Tonnelle Ave - :15, :35, :55
Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):
- Tonnelle Ave to Liberty State Park - :16, :36, :56
- Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :25, :45
Sunday, July 30th Departure Times From 6AM to 8PM:
Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):
- 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :25, :55
- Liberty State Park to Tonnelle Ave - :12, :42
Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):
- Tonnelle Ave to Liberty State Park - :23, :53
- Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :35
After 8PM on Sunday, normal weekend revenue service will resume.
