Morris & Essex Lines/Gladstone Branch/Montclair-Boonton: Possible Delays due to Track Work – Saturday, May 11, 2024
Possible delays of up to 20 minutes
From Saturday, May 11, from approximately 6AM until approximately 4PM, Morris & Essex Line, Montclair/Boonton Line and Gladstone Branch trains in both directions may face delays of 20 minutes between Newark Broad Street and New York Penn stations due to track maintenance.
The following trains will be affected:
- Eastbound trains from Newark Broad Street to New York/Hoboken
- Westbound trains from Newark Broad Street to Bay Street/Dover
- Gladstone Branch trains may be affected if connecting Morris & Essex trains are late to Summit.
During this time, customers transferring between trains at Newark Broad Street should check train information boards and follow directions of crewmembers to ensure they board the correct train to continue their trip.
NOTE: Additional delays are possible due to ongoing work between Newark Broad Street and New York Penn Station.
We appreciate your patience during this important project. Please allow for extra travel time and follow all posted signage, as well as any direction from train crew members.
