NJ TRANSIT Rail Service for Labor Day Weekend – Friday, August 30 thru Monday, September 2, 2024

On Monday, September 2 (Labor Day), NJ TRANSIT will operate extra rail service for Labor Day as detailed below. For complete rail schedule information, see Train Schedules.

• Friday, August 30: Additional trains departing New York, Newark Penn Station, and Hoboken between 2PM and 4PM will operate on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex, and Port Jervis lines.
  • To support the early getaway service outlined above, certain trains on the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line operating between 5PM and 7PM will be canceled.

• Saturday, August 31: Trains will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
• Sunday, September 1: Trains will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
• Monday, September 2 (Labor Day): Trains will operate on a normal weekend/major holiday schedule, including Port Jervis Line Train 88 (departing Port Jervis at 4:05PM).
