Bus Detour for No. 29 in Verona – Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Bloomfield Avenue will be closed between South Prospect and Pompton avenues due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 29 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Bloomfield and South Prospect avenues, make a right on South Prospect Avenue, right on Lakeside Avenue, left on Eagle Rock Avenue, left on Prospect Avenue, right on Bloomfield Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward West Caldwell will travel from Bloomfield and Mt. Prospect avenues, make a left on Mt. Prospect Avenue, right on Eagle Rock Avenue, right on Pleasant Valley Way, left on Morningside Road, right on South Prospect Avenue, left on Bloomfield Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
