Bus Detour for No. 114 in Somerville – Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 4:00 AM until 7:00 PM, Main Street and West End Avenue will be closed between Mountain Avenue and Park Avenue/Veteran’s Memorial Drive East due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 114 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from Mountain Avenue and Altamont Place, make a right at Altamont Place, left on Middaugh Street, left on Somerset Street, bear right on Veteran’s Memorial Drive West, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.   
• Buses traveling toward Bridgewater will travel from Main Street and Veteran’s Memorial Drive East, make a left on Veteran’s Memorial Drive East, left on Somerset Street, right on Middaugh Street, right on Altamont Place, left on Mountain Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
