Bus Detour for No. 836 in Freehold – Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Park Avenue and Freehold Center due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 836 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward CentraState Hospital Freehold will travel from Park Avenue and Main Street, continue on Park Avenue, right on Broad Street, accommodate customers at Freehold Center Entrance, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Asbury Park will travel from Broad Street and Freehold Center entrance, accommodate customers at 6-12 Store, left on Park Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
