Bus Detour for Nos. 28 & 191 Little Falls – Saturday, May 24, 2025

Effective Saturday, May 24, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Pompton Avenue and Cedar Grove Road due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 28 & 191 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Pompton Avenue and Main Street, continue on Pompton Avenue, make a left on East Lindsley Road, left on Cedar Grove Road, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.   
• Buses traveling toward Wayne will travel from Main Street and Cedar Grove Road, make a left on Cedar Grove Road, right on East Lindsley Road, right on Pompton Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
