Bus Detour for No. 746 in Fair Lawn – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until Thursday, May 29 at 5:00 PM, South Maple Avenue will be closed between Prospect Street and South Highwood Avenue due to a telephone pole replacement.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 746 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Paterson will travel from South Maple Avenue and Prospect Street, make a left on Prospect Street, right on Park Avenue, left on South Maple Avenue, and then continue the regular route.      
• Buses traveling toward Midland Park and Ridgewood will travel from South Maple and South Highwood avenues, make a left on South Highwood Avenue, right on Norwood Avenue, left on Highwood Avenue, right on Linden Street, left on South Maple Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
