Bus Detour for No. 836 in Freehold – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Friday, June 13 at 6:00 PM, Throckmorton Street will be closed between Broad Street and Route 9 due to road work  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 836 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Freehold Raceway Mall/Central State Medical will travel form Broad Street and Freehold Center, make a left on Broad Street, right on Manalapan Avenue, left on Route 9 South, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Asbury Park will not be affected.   

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
