Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes due to Construction Maintenance - Saturday, August 9, and Sunday, August 10, 2025

Both days from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM: All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Park Avenue, Orange Street, and Norfolk Street stations. The inbound platforms will be closed.

NOTE: On Saturday, trains will operate on a normal Saturday schedule. On Sunday, trains will operate on a normal Sunday schedule. 

On Saturday, all Penn Station departures will leave from track 1, tracks 2 and 4 will be out of service. Broad Street customers will board LRTs on platform 2, left side doors. Grove Street customers will board LRTs on platform 1, right side doors. 

Please check all destination signs before boarding and allow for extra travel time.
