Bus Detour for No. 559 in Lakewood – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Thursday, October 9, Route 9 will be closed between Spruce and Pine streets due to road construction.    

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 559 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Lakewood will travel from Route 9 and Spruce Street, make a right on Spruce Street, left on Washington Street, left on Pine Street, right on MLK Drive, left on Cedar Bridge Avenue, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from Route 9 and Pine Street, make a left on Pine Street, right on Washington Street, right on Spruce Street, left on Route 9, and then continue the regular route.            

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
