Bus Detour for Nos. 67 and 139 in Freehold Boro - Sunday, October 26, 2025

Effective Sunday, October 26, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Main Street, South Street, and Park Avenue will be closed between Throckmorton Street and Route 9 North for a Halloween Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 67 and 139 in Freehold Boro will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark/New York will travel from Route 9 North and South Street, continue on Route 9 North, make a right on Manalapan Avenue, left on Broad Street, stop for passenger pick-up and drop-off in front of Freehold Center, make a left on Throckmorton Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Lakewood/Toms River will travel from Broad Street and Throckmorton Street, make a right on Broad Street, stop for passenger pick-up and drop-off at the 6-12 Store, continue on Broad Street, make a right on Manalapan Avenue, left on Route 9 South, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
