Bus Detour for Nos. 30 and 76 in Newark - Sunday, October 19, 2025
Effective Sunday, October 19, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Broad Street will be closed between University Avenue and McCarter Highway (Route 21) for the Newark Annual Breast Cancer Walk.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 30 and 76 in Newark will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward Newark Penn Station will travel from University Avenue and Orange Street, make a left on Orange Street, left on Broad Street, right on McCarter Highway (Route 21), left on Raymond Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward North Arlington and Hackensack will travel from Raymond Boulevard and McCarter Highway (Route 21), make a right on McCarter Highway (Route 21), bear right on Lombardy Street, right on Broad Street, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
