Bus Detour for No. 99 in Hillside – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Thursday, October 16, Maple Avenue will be closed between Hillside and Chancelor avenues due to a building fire.    

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 99 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Hillside will travel from Maple and Chancellor avenues, make a left on Chancellor Avenue, right on Elizabeth Avenue, continue to Hillside Avenue, left on Maple Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Branch Brook Park Light Rail Station will travel from Maple and Hillside avenues, make a right on Hillside Avenue, left on Elizabeth Avenue, left on Chancellor Avenue, right on Maple Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
