Bus Detour for No. 504 in Atlantic City – Sunday, October 19, 2025

Effective Sunday, October 19, from 6:30 AM until 12:30 PM, Gardners Basin will be closed between Grammercy Place and the end of the line due to the Atlantic City Marathon.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 504 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from Grammercy Place and Vermont Avenue, make a left on Vermont Avenue, left on Madison Avenue, and then layover on Madison Avenue.
• Buses traveling toward Ventnor Plaza will travel Madison and Vermont avenues, and then continue Madison Avenue to the regular route.    

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
