Bus Detour for No. 709 in Rochelle Park – Thursday, November 6, 2025

Effective Thursday, November 6, from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM, Passaic Street will be closed between Fairfield Drive and Rochelle Avenue due to road work. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 709 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Bloomfield will not be affected.            
• Buses traveling toward Paramus will travel from Rochelle Avenue and Crescent Street, make a left on Crescent Street, right on Berdan Road, left on Passaic Street, and then continue the regular route.             

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
