Bus Detour for No. 811 in South River - Effective Immediately

Effective Thursday, November 6, until Friday, November 7, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Hillside Avenue and Devoe Street for road work.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 811 in South River will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New Brunswick will travel from Jackson Street and Wilson Avenue, make a right on Wilson Avenue, left on Joseph Street, right on Willett Avenue, right on Hillside Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward South River will travel from Main Street and Hillside Avenue, continue on Hillside Avenue, make a left on Willett Avenue, left on Joseph Street, right on Raritan Avenue, left on Grochowiak Street, right on Wilson Avenue, right on Jackson Street, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
