Bus Detour for No. 114 in Somerville – Thursday, November 27, 2025

Effective Thursday, November 27, between 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM, Main Street will be closed between North Gaston Avenue and Mechanic Street due to the 5K Turkey Trot.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 114 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from Main and Mechanic streets, make a left on Mechanic Street, right on High Street, left on North Gaston Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Bridgewater will travel from North Gaston Avenue and High Street, make a right on High Street, left on Grove Street, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.   

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
