Bus Detour for No. 108 in Newark – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately, and continuing until 11:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, Central Avenue will be closed between University Avenue and Washington Street due to utility work.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 108 will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward New York PABT will travel from Martin Luther King Boulevard and Orange Street, make a right on Broad Street, bear left on Park Place, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Central Avenue and Washington Street, make a right on Washington Street, left on James Street, right on Martin Luther King Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
