Bus Detour for No. 83 in Ridgefield Park – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, Main Street will be closed between North and Central avenues due to road work.      

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 83 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Journal Square will travel from North Avenue and 7th Street, make a right on 7th Street, left on Central Avenue, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.   
• Buses traveling toward Hackensack will travel from Main Street and Central Avenue, make a left on Central Avenue, right on 8th Street, left on North Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
