Morris & Essex: Gladstone Branch Overnight Busing – Saturday, December 6, to Sunday, December 7, 2025

Beginning at approximately 8:30 PM on Saturday, December 6, and continuing until approximately 9:00 AM on Sunday, December 7, Gladstone Branch rail service will be replaced by Lakeland Bus Company service between Gladstone and Summit stations to support grade crossing replacement near Bernardsville Station, as well as roof repair work on the Bernardsville Station building. 

Customers should check printable schedules dated December 6, 2025, and December 7, 2025, for details on which trains are replaced by buses during this period, available here. 

NOTE: Eastbound (towards Summit) buses will operate up to 22 minutes earlier than the normal train time, except for the last bus on Saturday, December 7, which will depart Gladstone Station at 12:24 AM, the same time that train 746 normally departs.
